In order to send surveys automatically to your customers, SMS Surveys requires customer phone numbers. This means that you need to be collecting customer phone numbers in your Shopify store at the time of purchase. Here's how to set that up:
Login to your Shopify store and go to your Settings menu:
In your Setting menu, select Checkout:
Scroll down to Form Options and you'll see a section called Phone Number:
The default value is 'Hidden'. Please change this to 'Required'. This will require each of your customers to enter their phone number at the time of purchase:
Now click Save to save your changes:
Now that you're requesting phone numbers from your customers, they'll automatically receive an SMS Survey each time a purchase is made. Please note that SMS Surveys will only send surveys to customers who have entered a cell phone number. SMS Surveys identifies landlines and will not text these numbers.
